Journal of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (JSTMU), owned and published by the Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University is an Open Access, Peer Reviewed biomedical journal Free for academic and research use. Our mission is to bring forward the best research and information on health and biomedical sciences and to engage, inform and stimulate doctors, researchers and all health professionals in ways that will promote health, advance health care delivery and improve patient outcomes. To achieve these aims, we publish original research articles, review articles, letters and articles commenting on the clinical, scientific, social and economic factors affecting health that help health professionals make better clinical, research and public health decisions. The journal enjoys expertise of a galaxy of editorial board members and reviewers specialized in the fields of medical sciences, health sciences, biosciences, pharmaceutical sciences, allied health sciences etc. 

All submissions are electronic to significantly reduce processing time and unnecessary delays. The manuscript submitted for publication may be in the form of an original research (randomized controlled trial, meta-analysis, quasi-experimental study, case-control study, cohort study or cross-sectional analytical study), review article, case report, book review, recent advances, new techniques, debates, adverse drug reports, current practices, audit reports, evidence-based reports, short communication or a letter to the editor. Studies more than five years old at the time of submission are not entertained. 

The Journal strictly follows Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) guidelines. The Journal does not accept multiple studies/multiple end publications gathered/derived from a single research project or data (wholly or in-part) known as "Salami" or "Segmented" publications.

The contents published online or in print editions are copyrighted. All articles published represent the opinions of the authors and do not reflect the official policy of the Journal (JSTMU), Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), Shifa International Hospitals Ltd. (SIHL), or the institution with which the author is affiliated unless it is clearly specified. 

We are delighted to consider articles for publication from doctors, nurses, pharmacists and all other health professionals from anywhere in the world.
